Outreach

Since 1994, musicians of the Philharmonic of Southern New Jersey have volunteered their time and talents to bring their knowledge and love of music to school children in Camden, Burlington and Gloucester counties.  Small ensembles perform for students, answer their questions and encourage them to explore the joys of music in their schools and in their homes.  These educational experiences culminate each spring at the orchestra’s beloved Children’s Concert, where children and their parents can discover the stirring sound of a full orchestra and begin to explore the rich vastness of classical music.  To learn more about the Philharmonic’s educational outreach programs for schools, call us at 856-779-2600.
