Anthony Campione
Anthony (Tony) Campione has been with the Philharmonic of Southern New Jersey, in its first violin section, since 1999. He has been the concertmaster of the Olney Symphony Orchestra since 1991, and a former member of the Brava String Quartet and the Down String Quartet.
Mr. Campione has studied with Lillian Cinberg, Edgar Ortenberg (Budapest String Quartet), and is presently being coached by Hirono Oka, and is presently being coached by Jonathan Beiler of the Philadelphia Orchestra. Mr. Campione was a mathematics educator in Philadelphia, and a mathematics consultant at LaSalle University. He is presently a mathematics consultant for the 21st Century Partnership of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania. Although he chose the field of mathematics, a major love of his life is playing the violin.
Mr. Campione resides in Marlton, New Jersey, with his wife, Saundra. He has two daughters, Laura and Dana, and four grandchildren.
